Isn't the catering outsourced to Compass - or another one of those service companies?
Probably one of the lease requirements.
Doubt the board have much say in what they charge.
But it's still a fucking liberty.

Three or four pints at a nice location ain’t the end of the world. There’s no way I’d take my missus out and end up in a spoons they are all fucking pony. If going out on the piss wouldnt care having said that we rarely meet up nowadays and wouldnt go to a shitty pub to save a few quid. Took herself to Rome for her 50th early June hotel was the bollocks and not mad expensive considering(240 a night) couldn’t fault it. They have it right there , all alcoholic drinks have a fiver price which are on menu doings infront of all pubs/ bars. Huge difference in prices went from 2.5 etros to 12 for a 330 ml peroni. Should be made to do the same in central London.

He’s talking about the Amstel at the OS jfk, not out.
That is how much the cunts are charging now.
And Ern, it IS something to do with the club. The board knowingly signed a contract that allowed this to happen so I’ll not be forgetting that.

jfk - That's a lot for Rome I think, I was there in 2018 and was in a very nice 4* central location for about 100 quid a night. Italy generally has fair hotel prices unlike some European capitals, Amsterdam being one, and of course London.

Manuel, Yes there were much cheaper options which were nice but spalshed out as it was her 50th and neither of us had been to Rome before. Lovely city and can’t fail to be amazed of its history but wouldn’t rush back as when we went it was roasting 35 ish unusually hot for the time of yeart both ill prepared for (our fault) and packed with fat gobby Americans(honey pts do the Eiffel Tower)touring Europe in a week,
